<div>Dede Martinez had been dealing with knee pain for some time. When the pain became unbearable in her hip, she went to the ER seeking relief—and instead received life-altering news. Doctors discovered that the top of her femur bone had been crushed, pushing through the hip socket and cracking the bone.

<div>A trauma surgeon immediately created a two-surgery plan to restore her mobility. Dede underwent hip surgery #1 on November 23rd at the University of New Mexico Hospital, where she remained for nearly two weeks. She was then transferred to a skilled nursing facility to begin rehabilitation.

<div>Now Dede is facing an urgent financial challenge. Her insurance no longer covers the full cost of care, and she must pay significant out-of-pocket expenses to continue receiving the support she needs. In February, Dede will undergo surgery #2—a total hip replacement—followed by another hospital stay and ongoing recovery. She hopes to return home with continuous care.

</div>
<div>The total cost of medical bills, rehabilitation, and home care is estimated at $20,000.

<div>If you know Dede, you know her generous and caring heart. Please give if you can, share this page, and keep her in your prayers. Your support means everything right now.
