Carava Family

Donation protected
On the evening of February 15th, 2018 a fellow Prairie Elementary and Huntington Hill/Rock Ridge Family found themselves faced with a massive house fire that will displace them for many months while they rebuild.

Heather and Andy Carava of 1353 Middleburg Rd. were able to evacuate with their three boys, 3-year-old twins Hudson and Emerson and their 8-year-old Dominic, before the fire spread. Everyone is safe, even Pandora the cat. Dominic is a second grader at Prairie in Mrs. Stercay’s class.

They are relocated to temporary housing until they find a neighborhood rental. The family has graciously been suggesting that they need nothing, but the outpouring of support by neighbors and friends and school families is a true testament to our community that shouldn’t be denied. No obligations whatsoever, but for those of you who have asked how to help...

This gofundme campaign has been set up and proceeds will be used to create a gift card basket (Target, restaurants, etc.) specifically to provide meal solutions and offset some of the immediate needs of the family.

Please ignore the “goal.”  The only goal is to give an outlet to those asking where they could contribute to show the family some support in this trying time.
