Cara's CRPS Journey

Cara underwent multiple shoulder surgeries in the past 6 years and has been suffering from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) ever since. CRPS is a rare condition that causes constant intense pain and has no known cure. It has already spread from her left shoulder, down her arm, and up to her jaw (which she recently had surgery on as it deteriorated her joint) and will continue to spread unless she can get it into remission.

She has been accepted to receive treatments from Rheumatologist, Professor Biasi, in Italy. This treatment could put her into remission and help alleviate the daily intense pain she experiences. The only setback is the cost of this treatment plus sending a caregiver (which is mandatory) along with her. It will be well over $25,000. Let’s help get Cara to Italy to undergo this treatment so she can continue her life in less pain and enjoy activities with her 2 young kids, Harper and CJ, and husband Andy.
