Cara Knipp’s miracle fund

Cara had a life changing bicycle accident on Thornydale road just north of Ina on June 20, 2020. After closing Thornydale road for several hours, the investigators determined that Cara hit a bag of grout that was in the bike lane and crashed her bicycle. She suffered a very serious and dangerous brain injury. She had surgery to stop bleeding in several areas of her brain, The bleeding has stopped but the doctors then discovered a clot in her brain. The therapy to treat the clot holds some significant risks to the damaged blood vessels in her brain to bleed again. She’s on a very scary path, but our Cara is a fighter! She is strong! She is speaking coherently, moving drinking understanding and remembering some things. These are all wonderful things but she has such a long way to go. She has a strong family to help her and a HUGE friend network with friends from all around the world. She is loved by everyone she meets. She gives selflessly of herself completely and now it’s her turn to receive. We are uncertain at this point of all the expenses that will come from various doctors, equipment, therapies and eventually home modifications. We’re asking for help financially so that we can take care of all Cara bills and other needs That will inevitably come up. We also ask for prayers for our sweet Cara. She is a strong woman of God and we thank him daily for every bit of progress Cara makes.
