<div>Hi, my name is Lindsey. I am mother of 2 beautiful boys. This is not an easy thing for me to share and honestly the last thing I wanted to do, especially in these difficulty times when everyone is struggling — but I’m learning that asking for help is a form of strength.

<div>I recently made the very difficult but necessary decision to leave a situation that was no longer safe or healthy for me or my child. It took everything in me to walk away, but I knew I had to choose peace, healing, and a better future for both of us.

<div>We are now starting completely over. I left with very little, but I left with hope. I’m currently in the middle of a custody process, doing everything I can to make sure my child has the stability, care, and consistency they deserve. At the same time, I’m working to rebuild our lives — I’ve secured housing. After a month and a half of driving back and forth to Virginia for work, I was able to transfer my job back here to PA and just secured a second job.

<div>To make things even more difficult, my car recently broke down. It was our only mode of transportation — to daycare, work, legal appointments, and everything in between. The timing couldn’t have been worse, and it’s added even more stress to an already overwhelming situation.

<div>As you can imagine, the financial burden is heavy. Legal fees, living expenses, and child-related costs all add up quickly, especially while trying to regain footing as a single parent. That’s why I’ve created this fundraiser — not out of weakness, but out of determination to keep moving forward.

<div>Your support will go directly toward everyday living costs and a new car, while I try to manage paying legal fees to fight for my child.
