Disability Modifications + Rent

Below is the original information. Here is the update as of 12/28/2019:

Thus far, I haven't found a new place to live. I have to leave this apartment by January 13, 2020 which is VERY close. There's nowhere for me and my (service/support) cats to go, at this point (and they stay with me - that's a non-negotiable).  I've increased this fundraiser so that I can afford to go month to month in my current apartment. The rent is around $1100 plus utilities. I'm sorry to ask you guys for more help, but I'm not sure what else to do.

I am still working with lawyers on my LTD and SSDI cases, but those won't be won quickly. LTD could take up to 9 months, maybe a year - but could be sooner, too. SSDI, though, that's a year to 1.5 years per what my lawyer is stating.

Any amount helps, and I greatly appreciate you ALL for reading, donating, and/or sharing this. THANK YOU! Truly, from the bottom of my heart, those words don't even accurately manage to express how I feel. There are no words to really tell you all how in awe I am of the generosity I've experienced over these difficult months.

---------------------------------------

Over the past few months, I had to go out of work on disability due to treatments for Lyme Disease. During this time, my company laid off our team (as our jobs were sent overseas) so it's left me unemployed. I've been attempting to get long term disability and SSDI, but have been denied. In the process of contesting, I have no income.

One thing I'm working on doing is trying to get further modifications to my car to make transportation easier for me. Vocational Rehab said they may be able to help; however, my car's title is from another state. I haven't transferred it over because it costs over $500 to do this, plus whatever fees they may charge since the tags are expired, plus the fee to get the car inspection.

Additionally, Voc Rehab did say I may have to pay some of the expenses for modifications that they determine are possible. On top of all of this, I have to move out of my apartment by the second week of January. As it is, I have no place to live so, at this point, to be perfectly honest, I (along with my kitties) will be living in my car.

Any amount towards getting my car fully legal is greatly appreciated  and will help SO much!

CURRENT PROCESS:
Currently, I have a lift in the trunk, but it is still difficult for me. I have to pull the chair up, transfer out of the chair and onto the trunk. From there, I trap my legs between the chair and bumper of the car so I don't slip and fall, then buckle the chair it and raise the buckles over the back rest. I use forearm crutches to slide across to the opposite side of the trunk (to the remote control), then operate the lift and try to keep balance using the control to raise the chair while trying to keep the chair from hitting the car. Once it is inside, I have to push up, get the trunk closed manually, and use crutches to get to the driver seat. I'd video it, but I have no way to do that on my own, unfortunately.

Additionally, I have hand controls, but they may not really be the best fit for me. I've had some issues using them thus far though using them is easier than trying to drive without them. I really hate to ask for help again, but I don't know what else to do. I've checked into organizations, finding none that help to transfer car titles. Thank you for reading, sharing, and/or donating!
