We have been watching the many geo and political events happening across the pond; our hope and trust is that you are well, enjoying the sunny days of summer and some rains here and there. We daily remember you in our prayers, to experience health and success in all that you do.
The first thing I want to mention in this two-part letter is to let you know that we have an amazing newsletter to hit your mailbox this fall. We are going to recap on Family Legacy’s Camp LIFE season and the role we played in this exciting time for our ministry. We will talk about our kids both biological and those given to us through this wonderful adventure and recap our 10-year volunteer service in Zambia.
Secondly, we would like to invite you to join us in another amazing event for our family, raising some needed funds to purchase a vehicle. Our current 1998 Toyota Prado, diesel and manual transmission is a great car, but the cost of maintaining it has become unsustainable. This past rainy season was incredibly fruitful. After years of drought, we finally had an abundance of rain which lasted even longer than previous years. It was great to experience this miracle, however, the roads suffered quite a bit of damage and so did our car. We’ve put nearly $2000 of repairs into the car. At the moment, the car is still not working and we’ve had to put in another $600. We are asking if you would consider helping us get a newer used car.
After praying about it for a year now, you specifically came to mind to invite in helping us see this come past. It is not sponsoring an orphan directly but it is assisting in the plight of orphans indirectly. Will you help us get the word out, inviting family and friends to give to this noble cause? We are hoping to raise $30,000.00 in the next 3 months, that’s $10,000 each month via Go Fund Me. We are grateful and appreciate your love and continued support. Many blessings!!
