<div>Hi, my name is Brett and I'm fundraising for expenses involved with a car accident that recently occurred. Last night I was involved in a car accident in which another driver went through a stop sign, hit, and flipped my car. After scrambling inside the car for a few minutes I was able to crack open the sunroof and get out. As of now, injuries are minor in the grand scheme but less than what you'd expect from your car rolling. Upon getting out, I found my phone about 10 feet away from where I landed which is now water damaged (and only about 40 days old). After speaking to insurance, my car unfortunately doesn't look like it'll make it. It was a 2022 Jeep Compass, and my first adult-style purchase which is what made it so special over the past year. I also proposed 3 months ago and I am getting married in just a few months. Including wedding fees, car trouble, deductible and a pesky iPhone, there have been many unforeseen expenses in the last few months let alone a few days. While this was supposed to be the best year of my life, things have gone the quite opposite. If you are reading this, the support means more than anything and all we can do is keep going!
