Hi, my name is Rune. I am a university student in high school education majoring in history. I've only got one year left in my degree before I graduate and I am struggling. Last year a semi truck hit a deer which fell in front of my car making me crash. My car was totaled. After I had to get another car. I then got my first new car in October 2024. The following November someone had hit the front of my car and ripped my bumper while I was in a store. It cost me $2000 out of pocket to repair it. I absorbed the cost even though I was out of work at the time. In January this year, I wanted to go visit my grandma since she's the only support I have but I unfortunately crashed. The repairs are going to cost me around $7000. On top of that, my roommate who was a good friend of mine has gotten a new partner and is trying to kick me out of our apartment. My name is not on the lease since I was out of work at the time. Now I do have work but without my car it's been incredibly difficult. Now with university on top of that it makes it hard to do a lot of hours of work. The money I had saved up is gone. The rent keeps going up. I have tried to get scholarships but to no avail. I have no support. I have applied to get a spot in my university dorms but the places are limited and we will only know in the summer. If I can't get a place I'm going to need to wait until I can to finish my degree since I live too far away. I don't like asking for things, but this is my last hope. Thank you.
