Capt. Bart Miller – Captain, Fisherman, Father, Husband, Teacher, Pioneer and Friend. Sportfishing Community now is the time to give back to someone who in his life gave us so much.

Bart Miller represented everything great about our love of this amazing sport so few get to be a part of.  Bart Miller dedicated his life to the pursuit of the magical fish he loved so much, Marlin, Tuna and even largemouth bass – He never passed up an opportunity to fish. Bart shared his passion with so many people, his lures, his knowledge, his lessons, his cooking and his humor – he was always sharing and giving to others. His passion to gain and spread knowledge, especially the fine art of Lure Fishing was amazing. Countless captains, mates and anglers recall the life lessons we learned from Bart, he was a true pioneer who always shared what he learned.

Now it our turn as a community to give back. We all benefited from the life of Bart “Black Bart” Miller. Bart now resides on the ultimate Rip, yet he leaves behind a family who he loved very much, family who we can help like Bart helped all of us.
