Hello, I am reaching out on behalf of my friend Captain, a 10-year-old gelded Quarter Horse with a persistent growth. Following consultations with multiple veterinarians and various diagnoses and treatment plans, we are grateful to have found a veterinarian with experience in similar cases. Captain's growth is believed to be either squamous cell carcinoma or a sarcoid, both of which can be removed and treated similarly. We have scheduled the growth removal and a biopsy to determine the exact nature of the growth.
