Capt Grant Fraser memorial fund for Emily and Kate

Captain (Ret'd) Grant Fraser died at home after a period of illness on October 23, 2020. He leaves two wonderful, beautiful girls who were his greatest love. This memorial fund is set up to support Emily and Kate.
Grant served with the Canadian Armed Forces as a combat engineer with UNPROFOR in Croatia and as a trauma nurse at the NATO Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He was a very proud nurse with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Like so many, he had invisible wounds from his service. He was medically released from the Forces due to his service-related injuries. Over the past years, he had some great successes and some very difficult lows. Those who loved and supported him feared this outcome, which has come to pass.
Many people have reached out asking if they can contribute to the support of his beloved daughters, so a trust fund is being established for them, managed by his brother, David Fraser.
Fraser, Herbert Patrick GRANT (April 24, 1969 - October 23, 2020) died at home after a period of illness. Grant is missed and deeply mourned by his daughters Emily and Kate, his parents Nancy and Herb, and brothers David and Doug, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends around the world. Grant was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces who served as a peacekeeper in Croatia and as a trauma nurse in Kandahar, continuing his commitment to service as a Registered Nurse. His adventurous childhood in a Canadian Foreign Service family made him intrepid and brave and a lifelong learner. He was beyond proud of the spirit and strength of his daughters. Though his light was dimmed by illness, good memories will remain strong. In Grant's memory, please support veterans with PTSD and their families.
