More information about America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend, Inc.: Second Harvest food bank is a nonprofit charity started in 1982 to address the urgent problem of hunger in the community. Our mission is to feed hungry people in the Big Bend and lead the community in the fight to end hunger. Second Harvest delivers charitable food for hungry people in 17 Florida counties, including 13 of the state's top 20 most food insecure.
