UNITY & CULTURAL SHARING: YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Donation protected
At a time like this, when immigrants, People of Color, and Jews are all under attack, we need events that bring us together more than ever.  The Cape Verdean-Jewish Passover Seder, founded 13 years ago, brings together Cape Verdeans, from the island nation off the coast of West Africa, and Jews in an event in Boston that builds unity and solidarity, while helping us understand our distinct cultures and histories.

We need your generosity to help us continue to carry out our mission of bringing the Cape Verdean and the Jewish communities together through sharing stories, youth participation, foods, and live music performances from each culture.  While, on the surface these groups appear different in culture and history, actually Cape Verdeans and Jews share much in common. For one thing, many Cape Verdeans have Jewish ancestors. The Cape Verdean-Jewish Passover Seder gives the Cape Verdean community the chance to explore their Jewish roots and hear more about the Cape Verdean-Jewish connection. At the same time, Jews learn about Cape Verdean culture and customs. This annual free event welcomes anyone in the community.

Please help us make this important event happen!
