Hurricane Ian Survivors

Wednesday September 28, 2022 - Hurricane Ian showed it’s wrath. 1.4 million are still without power and the death toll continues to rise. Hurricane Ian has joined the lineage of monstrous storms in U.S. history.

We all have loved ones who are still stranded, no food or safe water to drink. Through this trying time, our family has not given up hope and are continuing to help their neighbors, pulling boats out of yards, cars out of houses, creating piles of debris for easier cleanup. The family home is destroyed. My brother-in Law and 3 young nephews were unable to evacuate and are in the process of removing the destruction left behind with their home. The floors are being pulled out, half of the roof is missing and our family is needing to restore what they can. Repair service prices are high and our family will do everything we can to repair the home quickly to safely move the family back in. My sister and the baby are safe with our parents. Our prayers were answered and our family survived this devastating nightmare.

We ask our friends and family for continued prayers & support as we begin the rebuilding process. Cell service is sparse but we continue to get random pictures and videos when a cell spot is located. Our family lives in Cape Coral, let’s help them repair this mess. We are hoping to raise funds to help this process along the way. we know our economy is struggling but anything helps. All funds will go to the family & their Immediate needs such as alternative housing, food, clothes furniture, gas.
