Cantare Houston Recording Project

Fifteen years ago, a group of Houstonian singers got together with a vision to tell a story through the most beautifully sung choral music. From churches to concert halls, Cantare Houston has sought to enrich the community through art and song in Houston. Now we want to share our music with the rest of the world with a programmatic CD of some of the most inspiring choral music. 

Cantare has excitedly completed the process of recording the all our music for the CD. We are currently in the process of mastering the tracks before distribution, and could use your help! We are halfway to our goal, and would be ever grateful if you considered donating to our CD. 

Love Divine will be a musical journey through the many different forms of love. Romantic love, spiritual love, and love between parent and child to name just a few. Featured on the album will be Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs and Sanstrom's poignant take on Purcell's Hear My Prayer. 



We are planning a CD release party Spring 2019! We would love for you to join us in celebration!
