Cans & Creams is the brainchild of young Irish couple Maria Vogiatzi & Ronan Doyle. Maria and Ronan arrived in Australia in late 2014, when they fell instantly in love with Melbourne and the Aussie lifestyle.
One hot summer day in 2015, they joked about how perfect it would be to have an ice-cold can of soft drink and an icecream delivered to them on the beach - and Cans & Creams was born.
Initially, the dream was to cycle up and down the beaches of Victoria with soft drink and pre-packaged icecreams, but the more they discussed it, the more they realised that just wasn't 'them'. Maria and Ronan don't do anything by halves, and they never, ever take the easy way out.
The only way Cans & Creams would become a reality was if the ice cream was lovingly handcrafted in Melbourne and sold with the complete 'Maria and Ronan experience' - bangin' tunes, fresh-to-death uniforms and a vibe that marries the hottest party spots in the Greek Islands with the street-food culture that has made Melbourne such a popular culinary destination around the world.
The Cans & Creams office is covered in images of the sun, the surf and the most Instagrammable dessert inspiration imagineable.
The stock room is currrently being refurbished to meet Australian Food Safety standards.
The initial flavour concepts that are currently in development are a work of art.
The Cans & Creams team simply need a leg up to purchase their first mobile food unit, first run of stock and licence to trade.
