Cannoli's Spinal Cancer Fund

Cannoli needs our help ! If you know Gina and Matt, you know how much cannoli their bulldog means to them. Recently while on a walk on Cannolis 6th birthday, Gina noticed her falling in a very unusual way. She took her to the vet the next day, only to find out her X-rays showed nothing wrong with her legs or bones. From advice from the vets, she scheduled cannoli an MRI the following week. Unfortunately, they found out cannoli was diagnosed with an inoperable mass tumor in her spine . Given limited options dealing with bulldog spinal cancer in Las Vegas, she was ultimately given 4-6 months before she would become paralyzed or die. Not accepting those options, she was then referred to the Angel Care Cancer Center in Carlsbad California. After meeting the Oncologists, they decided to start therapy . Being that this is a time sensitive matter (in fear of the tumor spreading at a rapid rate), they have chosen a specific radiation treatment called stereotactic radiation (cyberknife). Hopefully, this treatment will shrink the tumor and contain it in non-invasive way, with only three treatments being needed as opposed to normal radiation which takes up to 19 treatments. With this radiation cannoli hopes to live a longer, better and more comfortable sense of life, and maybe even get more mobility back in her legs . Although being this treatment is so advanced, it is also very expensive at a costly over 13,000. As any pet owner understands, any amount of money is worth more time with your pets. Cannoli is starting radiation this week, any donations to help kick spinal cancers ass would mean the world to her, but all we could ask for is that you all keep cannoli in your positive thoughts and prayers as she starts her treatment.
