Candice’s Fight To Live

Hello family, friends, and supporters! My name is Taylor Acosta. I am raising money for my sister-in-law, Candice Nyan. Candice was diagnosed with a very aggressive and advanced form of cancer, Stage IV triple negative breast Cancer with metastasis, at just 29 years old. She has been fighting this battle for 3 years and counting. During those 3 years she has been bringing awareness and educating young women about breast cancer. Candice founded the Young Black Survivors Inc. to do just that. Candice has also been very dedicated to her community and being a role model to those fighting this battle. She encourages them to keep fighting and choose to live!
Recently Candice's cancer has spread from her breast to her brain, spine, and spinal fluid. She is in her biggest fight with cancer yet. Despite the prognosis Candice is choosing To Live! We want to get her treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas but her insurance does not cover it. We were told it would be all out of pocket. We are trying to raise money to get her into MD Anderson and to provide some financial relief to her and her mother. Her mother has been unable to work because of the care Candice needs. If there are any extra donations they will all be donated to Candice's non-profit, Young Black Survivors Inc. to help others become educated on early detection of breast cancer and support.
Those that know Candice know she is not one to ask for help, but right now she really needs are help. If you can't donate please pray for her!! I know she will be very grateful for any funds donated as well as prayers.
