Candace's Medical Funds

This time of year brings Christmas traditions, shopping for loved ones and celebrating with family and friends. But what would happen if you could not do any of it this year?

What if you had to start chemotherapy treatments and were sick most of the day? What if you were told, at the precious age of 31, you have cancer.

This is exactly what my dear friend Candace is dealing with. At 31 years of age, she has been diagnosed with cancer.

In the summer of 2017, she married her soul mate. Most newlyweds anticipate joy and excitement along with their vows. However, shortly after the wedding, Candace became very ill and was later diagnosed in November of 2017. This has drastically changed the beginning of their marriage.

Candace was on medical leave prior to her diagnoses, because she was so ill.

Six weeks prior to her diagnoses, she was laid off, due to unforessable circumstances. Her medical leave is done as of December 2017, resulting in no insurance for medical treatment come 2018. The couple is very blessed to have at least one income from Candace's husband. They remain strong for her beautiful 4-year-old daughter.
