Cancer-Free Flower
Hi, I'm Jennifer. In 2009, I went to a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles and adopted the dog who was next in line to be euthanized. That dog was Flower.
Over the last 13 years, Flower and I have formed a bond that is hard to describe. She's my first child. She's the little spoon when we sleep. She is the center of my universe -- just like I am the center of hers.
A few days ago, our vet told us that a cyst on Flower was cancer. The surgery is an unexpected cost that I was not prepared for -- which is why I need your help. Your donation to this campaign will go directly towards paying for Flower's tumor-removal surgery. Please help Flower be cancer-free!
How do you explain to your dog how much joy they have brought to your life? That you hope you were the parent they deserved? That you love them unconditionally, the same way they love you? How do you tell your dog that you worry sick about the day they will leave you? That you will mourn them profoundly when they pass?
How do you show your dog that they truly mean the world to you?
By being there for them every day, and doing everything in your power to give them the longest, happiest life possible.
So this is for you, Flower. I love you <3
