CANCER WELLNESS FOUNDATION OF CENTRAL ALABAMA
MISSION: The mission of the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama is to provide supportive, educational services and assistance to cancer patients throughout Central Alabama, including those patients who lack the resources necessary to otherwise receive comprehensive health care.
Hello Friends! I have been a long-time member of and am currently serving as President of the Alabama Association of Assessing Officials (AAAO). This wonderful organization provides an excellent platform for networking, education, and professional growth for members of the ad valorem property tax and equalization field. We feel strongly about giving back to our communities through various charitable campaigns. In prior years we have donated school supplies, animal shelter necessities, and have contributed to several other causes. This year we have chosen to contribute to a charity that closely affects almost everyone because they have either faced a battle with cancer, or have witnessed a close friend or loved-one fighting the disease.
I am starting a GoFundMe account to supplement other fundraising ventures for the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama. The funds that I raise will be pooled with contributions from other AAAO members across the State and presented to the charity on August 10th, 2017. If you are unable to make a monetary contribution, I ask that you please pray for those individuals needing extra resources while fighting their battle with this unrelenting disease.
