We have a common friend on our expansion team who's father was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and quite frankly its not looking good.
Without health insurance, the majority of the financial burden for assistance is falling on him and his family directly. Things we take for granted like chemotherapy are being either delayed and/or postponed.
It's my intention to at least help him with these costs so that his father can get the treatments he needs sooner rather than later while also not putting our friend in a financial situation that could take years to recover from . A small contribution from a good number of us can make a difference.
