Hace un par de años Cecilia se comunicó con nosotras para informarnos la terrible noticia de que la habían diagnosticado con Cáncer de Mama. Este proceso fue muy fuerte ya que tuvo muchas complicaciones de las que desafortunadamente aún no han podido solucionar. Pero lo más importante era que el Cancer se estaba empezando a erradicar y nuestra Ceci seguiría luchando como la buena guerrera que siempre ha sido.

Desde hace un par de meses la han ido hospitalizando en varias ocasiones ya que siguen surgiendo complicaciones y dolores muy intensos que no se han podido descifrar; Pero lo único que si sabemos es que ella ha sido nuevamente diagnosticada con Cáncer pero esta vez es de Leucemia y continúan los exámenes para definir la severidad de su diagnóstico .
El tratamiento ha sido muy fuerte quimioterapia y radiaciones que la han dejado muy desvanecida y sin poder hablar. Pronto tendrá que viajar a la clínica Mayo en Rochester, Minnesota para un transplante de médula ósea.

Cecilia siempre ha sido una mujer muy trabajadora, pero lamentándolo mucho nuestra amiga también perdió su trabajo debido a esta enfermedad en la que ha estado incapacitada por mucho tiempo y sin ingresos. Su esposo, ha estado trabajando día y noche para poder sostener su hogar y todos los gastos médicos los cuales han sido altísimos y casi imposible de pagar (Diez mil dólares para cada medicina que no está cubierta por su seguro médico)

Es por eso que te pedimos que nos ayudes a minimizarle un poco la angustia a esta familia apoyando con el pago de los medicamentos que el seguro lamentablemente no cubre. Más que una ayuda financiera es una ayuda para nuestra querida Ceci.  Cualquier donación  ayudará.

A couple of years ago Cecilia reached out to us to inform us of the terrible news that she had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This process was very hard, and since then, it has generated many health complications that have yet to be cured and/or resolved. However, the Cancer was starting to go away, and we were under the impression that our Ceci would continue fighting like the good warrior that she has always been!!!!

For the past couple of months she has been hospitalized several times, and recently, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. Many tests have been completed, but the doctors haven’t been able to define the severity of her latest diagnosis.

The treatment has been very invasive and painful chemotherapy and radiations treatments have left our Ceci very tired and unable to even talk to us (She will soon have to travel to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for a bone marrow transplant).

Cecilia has always been a hardworking woman, but unfortunately, our friend also lost her job due to this illness in which she has been unable to work for a long time. Her husband has been working day and night to be able to support their home and all the medical expenses which have been very expensive and almost impossible to pay (Ten thousand dollars for each medicine that is not covered by their medical plan) This is why we ask for your help to minimize the financial burden to this family by supporting the out of pocket expenses that their insurance does not cover.
