Cancer treatment for Mohan's mother

Recently Mohan’s mother was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. The cancerous cells have now spread to the bones; and the doctor fears she may have just few more months in light of a miracle. However, there is hope - an expensive, non-insurance covered treatment is available. If the treatment if successful, she may have another year or two to spend with her growing family.
As you see, in parallel, Mohan is also expecting the birth of his second child.
Being a single income family, between his mom’s treatment, his daughter's daycare, his travels to India to be with his mom and his growing family, money is essential.
