Cancer Treatment for Leno

My name is Amanda Garcia and I’m here to tell my grandfather’s story. Leno is a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loves to sing and play guitar. Every weekend we’d go to karaoke nights and sing. At home, he’d play guitar and sing. Unfortunately, he had to stop playing guitar due to nerve damage in his hands, but that didn’t stop him from singing. We’d still go to karaoke nights and sing our hearts out. He never gave up on what he wanted most and that was to make everyone happy feel loved. Eventually, things took a toll for his health. On October 8th, 2017, my grandfather Leno, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer. Since that time, he has been going through extensive rounds of chemotherapy. He has been in and out of hospitals for the past 3 months due to this situation; his insurance only covers for inpantient treatment. Recently, his insurance was taken from him due to the fact that we weren’t able to pay for it. He is currently still in the hospital, with no insurance and my family is having to pay for everything out of pocket. It has been a struggle for everyone and we don’t know what is bound to happen. Our goal is to raise 25k to help pay for these medical expenses. We believe that anything will help and in the name of God, he will overcome this and he will come out of that hospital with no worry of having to pay a single bill. Anything helps.
