Doug and Teri Frank Cancer Treatment

In April of 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. In a matter of a month, I went from mammogram to ultrasound to MRI to biopsy to double mastectomy. In the months after that, I completed 20 weeks of hard chemotherapy, reconstruction surgery, then started 28 rounds of radiation. I am still on active chemotherapy once every three weeks because I was a triple positive cancer type (E/P/HER+). All of this while being a wife to my husband of 14 years, a mother to our two boys (ages 8 and 10), and working part time as a high school math tutor.

We are fortunate enough to have health insurance through a major insurance company with my husband’s employer, however, we have reached our out of pocket deductible for 2017 and will meet it again this year 2018. Our out of pocket copay for the calendar year is $4000. The medical bills are racking up quick and I have had to skip a treatment for the HER+ because the hospital required so much before treatment ($825) because of the deductible. Even if I could have paid that, 3 weeks later ANOTHER $825 would be due and so on....

ANY dollar amount donated would be greatly appreciated. My active treatments should go until August of 2018, but until I can give a copay requirement I have to keep postponing it.
