<div>Hey everyone, many of you reading this probably already know who I am, but for those of you that don’t, I’m Alex. I have spent the last eleven years of my life dedicated to health and fitness and as a personal trainer in making sure as many people as possible have access to solid tools for their journey. For myself this journey was complicated three years ago when my mother was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and I became her primary care giver. She has been an absolute rock star and I wouldn’t trade a single minute I’ve been able to spend with her. But now I am facing the fight myself, October 11 a biopsy came back and shows that I have B-cell Lymphoma. I have already began work with an amazing oncologist and have been told this is highly treatable and it appears as though it was caught early. This will still be a fight and the treatment may impair my ability to be on the gym floor with my clients for a time. I am not a person who does well at asking for help or favors but that is what I’m here asking for from you all. I do not want to be a burden to my family, even if it is for a short time. I truly believe no matter how this turns out that I will have what I need and that soon this will just be part of my story. I am truly thankful to all of you, to my family, to my friends and, to me clients that I’ve told, who have all offered the world to help me. It means more than I could ever put into words how much you all mean to me. Thank you.
