Cancer Sucks - Jody's Fight

As some of you who are close to me may already know, my mom Jody Mac Manus has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Mucosal Melanoma.
It is a rare (1 of 100 melanoma patients) cancer of the mucus membrane and has metastasized from her lip, to her tailbone, and lungs.
She started immunotherapy treatment in January, and has been strong enough to continue working through her treatment. She currently is a contractor - so the only way to make money is to work.
She has had an amazing and positive attitude and we are very hopeful, but the symptoms from the treatment are making her too weak to financially support herself anymore. She's at a point where she needs to stop working so she can rest and focus on treatment.
My sister, my mom's caring boyfriend, 92 yr old grandmother, and I are doing the best we can to help support emotionally and financially, but will not be able to cover all expenses.
Our hope is to raise $20,000 to cover my mom's $800/month health insurance premium, additional treatment copays, and mortgage payments until she can be eligible for Social Security Insurance and early retirement. We are hoping to raise this money within the next two months or sooner.
Even the smallest amount helps.
The support and compassion would mean the world to my family and I. If you know anything about my mother, she won't take no for an answer when it comes to beating this cancer.
