CANCER SUCKS. Brian needs our help

Donation protected
Brian was diagnosed with a Polycystic astrocytoma in Sept 2006. He had brain surgery a few weeks later to remove the tumor. The Tumor came back and had his second surgery in October 2007. A few months after that second surgery he had spinal fluid leakage which made the back of his head swell and he had to have a third surgery in January 2007. Brian had a few good years where the tumor left him alone and he continued to work. In April 2012 it started growing again and he had to have cyberknife. The cyberknife worked for 2.5 years and the tumor didn't grow until late 2014. He had an MRI in January 2015 and the tumor started growing and now has caused left side trimmers. He had a fourth surgery in February 2015 and the Dr. didn't get all of the tumor. By this time Brian had started to get sick and started having trouble walking and working as a Correctional Officer. He went back to work around April 2015 very sick. He switched doctors to OU at the Stevenson cancer center. They have been amazing. They decided Brian needed to have another surgery to remove the rest of the tumor from his surgery in February and in July 2015 he underwent a fifth brain surgery and this surgery left his disabled. He never went back to work at Oklahoma State Penitentiary. He medically retired from OSP on December 31, 2015 with 15year and 9 months in service. He started Chemo in fall of 2015 through March/April 2016. He was so sick and it was causing him to have no life. He got off all meds and by July 2016 he started to feel some better. He has had a good year. He & his family were able to go on a family vacation down to Padre Island/Port Aransas. In July 2017 Brian started to get real sick again. The left side of his face has become numb and his hearing has been affected. He doesn't hear good anymore. We had an MRI in McAlester on August 8. We found out the tumor is growing. Brian and his wife have spent many hours talking and coming to the realization that no matter what the treatment the tumor doesn't die. His nurse in OKC told us that sometimes there isn't anything else they can do. Brian has been hospitalized twice in a week time frame. On August 27 they made a very hard decision to go on hospice for pain control. Anything donated would be greatly appreciated.
