In 2006, Liz Washington was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She underwent a Mastectomy and a round of Chemotherapy.
During the summer of 2017, Liz was diagnosed with yet another tumor. While her second battle will mimic the steps she took during her first, it will ultimately leave her without work and with a loss of income for about 6 months. Liz will need to pay for her medical bills, her car payment, her phone bill, etc.
Liz has been a life-long resident of Middleburg, VA. She has been anchor for the for the Middleburg Community through animal care and grooming since her high school years. Liz has been the beloved groomer for the Middleburg Humane Foundation for the last several years.
She is currently helping her grandson as he enters into his freshman year at Penn State University. She has never been one to turn down an opportunity to get involved in her community and give back. Now it is our turn to give back to her!
Liz has always maintained a fabulous attitude and a positive outlook on life, we don’t doubt that this battle will leave her stronger and better than ever before.
