We are asking for your help to raise funds for our dear friend Christopher Goodrich as he fights his battle against cancer. Chris' story began in the summer of 2015 when he was first diagnosed with ocular melanoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer to which he lost his left eye. Three years later he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic melanoma to his liver. Chris will undergo surgery at MD Anderson to remove the tumors
followed by extensive immunotherapy. We would like your help as immunotherapy is an expensive treatment that will go on for at least one year. Travel expenses will be a challenge as well as potential loss of income during this difficult time.
Chris is a loving father, lousy friend (lol, just kidding!), and an outstanding member of the community who has served the City of Brownsville as a firefighter/paramedic for nearly a decade. Since contriving cancer 3 years ago, Chris has become an inspiration to many by advocating a healthy and active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. He has set himself as an example having lost almost 90 pounds in the process.
