Cancer healing for Cory and Clara

Cory was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer suddenly in March. After 3 months of chemo, he travelled to the Mayo Clinic twice, once for a pre-surgery appointment and then for surgery. They removed a football+ sized mass from his abdomen. Unfortunately, they also took his kidney, part of his aorta, which was then patched, and 5 nerve roots to his left leg. His recovery will be slow and long. He makes food in a deli and has been out of work for some time. Naturally, anemic and reconditioned with unknown recovery for his leg.

Clara works full time as a care assistant in a long term care facility. She loves the elderly! Those who know her  understand she is a kind soul who is hard working.  She has had to take off work to support Cory. They are sharing a small apartment with two roommates and their dog in Bozeman, Montana. They were looking for a place but the rising costs of housing there have limited their options.

This page is set up to help with costs associated with living (rent, groceries) for the next few months, medical bills such as physical therapy and medication co-pays. And support for Clara, the primary caregiver, including help with transporting him to appointments and her own self-care.
