Hi, my name is Chase Reagan, and I am fundraising for my mother. The last two months have drastically changed my 58-year-old mother's life. Tammy has been on disability for six years now and has consistently been $200 short every month on her bills which she has made up each month by 'flipping' anything she can find (aka having bi-monthly yard sales).
Everything changed for Tammy in May. Since mid-May, she has had over 12 visits involving scans, labs, Gastro specialists, 2 Oncologists, 2 Cancer Surgeons, two trips to Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, TN, with another trip to Vanderbilt on July 28th. Tammy has currently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. Exploratory Laparoscopy inside her abdominal wall on the next Vanderbilt visit will determine suspected Stage 4. This visit will also include placing a Chemo Port to start medication therapy. Her insurance, unfortunately, does not cover all of her medical costs. She has co-pays with each visit and, due to this, has been unable to meet her financial needs. Physically battling cancer has also prevented her from her regular flipping to make additional funds. This will only worsen in the near future with additional medical visits, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments.
Tammy's family has come together to help her the best they can financially, and additional means like transportation and working with her insurance to get her on a dual special needs plan to cover her costs(this part unfortunately has been a battle). However, it's not enough. She is faced with extreme expenses and no current means to obtain these new additional needs. These are expenses such as: co-pays for medical visits and treatments, gas expenses for travel (Vanderbilt is 5 hours away), brake line repair, and a couple of other minor auto repairs. Additional expenses Tammy is facing are her monthly household and bill expenses, new supplements needed for nutrition intake, and a new all-organic diet.
Tammy believes 100% that God will come through for her in this time of need. Be that through your help and God's help. She is in such inspiringly great spirits about this situation but desperately needs help. Anything you can help her with is beyond appreciated, and Tammy and the family would be forever grateful. Your prayers are also greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!
