<div>Hey everyone, this is just a little update on Greg. He had his cataract surgery today on one eye and went very well. The doctor said so the next one will be in a couple of weeks. He does have another chemo treatment next week and then he will have in December around the first week another infusion of the Iron procedure.  This is because he still is producing too much iron He had the MRI FERRISCAN scan the other week AND IT SHOWED THAT HE STILL HAD A LOT OF IRON IN HIS BODY ALL OVER HIS BODY AND THAT ONE OF THE LYMPH NODES DID GROW A LITTLE BIGGER, NOT MUCH, BUT IT DID GROW. DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE ONE IN HIS LIVER, BUT I GUESS WE TOLD YOU THAT BECAUSE IT HAS WENT TO HIS LYMPH NODES NOW THAT THEY CANCELED THE LIVER TRANSPLANT SO THAT’S OUT OF THE PICTURE NOW.

<div>Just an update on Greg. We will be going to an education class tomorrow for his IV infusion/chemo type treatment.

<div>Then Wednesday will be his treatment. We pray everything goes well and that he can handle the treatments. Don’t know how many he will be doing but it’s the start.

<div>UPDATE from Beverly:

<div>Just an update on Greg. We went yesterday to the doctors to have blood work done and talk to his blood disease doctor, and she said things was looking good that the iron in his blood was going down. He has a genetic disorder with his blood called Hereditary hemochromatosis. So he has had two pints of blood taken. we will know soon on the numbers on that. Went to an Oncologist today to discuss starting treatment on the lymph nodes since now the transplant is a no go now because it has gone to lymph nodes. We still are very positive on things with this. GODS GOT THIS !!!!

<div>We are starting this fund on behalf of Greg Poole. Some of you may be aware and some may not be, that he is battling liver cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was diagnosed several months ago and was told it was inoperable and he would be put on a transplant list if he could meet all the criteria.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently he has found out that he has some positive lymph nodes and cannot be a candidate for transplant at this time and has been removed from the list.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He is not currently working and medical bills (over $120,000 so far) and the daily cost of living are becoming overwhelming as they travel to Dr’s appointments 3 to 4 days per week now.
</div>

</div>
<div>Many have known Greg since high school and consider him a best friend along with Beverly. Many may not have known him as long as others but to know Greg is to love him!!!! He is one of the most genuine, loving people I know! His smile and laugh are infectious!!!
</div>
