Cancer Battle Fund: Latoyia Sow

Donation protected
As you all know, Toyia has been battling a tough fight with cancer since she was diagnosed in 2018. She has had good days, and she has had bad days these last couple of years. Through it all, Toyia NEVER stopped fighting! Especially for her children. God, laughter and family has been her strength. She would always say "This cancer is not wearing me, I'm wearing this cancer." She was blessed to have went into remission for 6 months after her major surgery. Toyia was back to her bubbly energetic self, she had big plans to start her nail business and non profit organization. Our love fought tooth and nail, getting through 37 Chemotherapy sessions & 3 radiations. In June 2020, Toyia received another heartbreaking phone call from her doctor stating the cancer was back, a small spot that he said could be contained with starting Chemotherapy again. We were all hopeful that she would again beat it. This chemo was the most aggressive one yet, it took a huge toll on her body. Soon after Toyia's health began to decline rapidly. On October 14th, 2020 we were told that the cancer had spread throughout Toyia's entire body and that there was nothing else the medical staff could do besides "Keep her comfortable." In this moment we knew that we needed to prepare for the worst, as God as our witness, prayer and faith being our center we still saw the reality of what this sickness was doing to her. As I write this, my sister is still here and breathing but she is tired and suffering. We do not know the time or day, only God does. Please do not feel sorry for us in this time because Toyia would never want anyone to pity her, but instead pray for her.  We hold dear the personality that we know, she has the kind of humor that could make you pee yourself just from laughing so hard and the kind of heart that would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. Toyia is caring, loving, and a beautiful soul who will leave a lasting impact on anyone she's met. Even in the midst of this she is strong. We are asking those who genuinely love and care for her to please show your support by giving what you can and to remember the babies she is going to have to leave behind, because as much as this pains us all; somehow some complex way this is God's will. We will never understand it but after fighting so long and hard she deserves peace and rest. All the donations will be put towards her memorial. Anything helps! Thank you in advance for all of your support. Continue to keep her children, mother and the rest of our family in your prayers.
