Help the Canari Framework get to V3

You’re probably reading this because you’ve got an avid interest in the Canari Framework or you’re just wondering what it is. For those of you who don’t know the framework, it’s a Maltego rapid transform development framework that is used by many Fortune 100s to rapidly prototype and develop Maltego transforms and can be found here: https://github.com/allfro/canari. The Canari Framework was first released at DEF CON 20 and since its inception has been rapidly adopted by the security community. Unfortunately, over time, the project has been neglected due to lack of resources and time.
As many of you open source developers know, open source doesn’t pay the bills and doesn’t keep the lights running. It takes time to develop code (especially frameworks), and that time and effort often goes unrewarded. Sometimes, these projects are packaged commercially and resold for large sums of money and the authors never see a dime, contribution, or attribution (yes this is one of them). Instead, the author is continuously asked for improvements and features from these companies and is never compensated for that effort. Canari 3.0 is resting in your hands now. If there is avid interest in improving the framework, then please show your interest and donate now. These donations will help keep the lights running and possibly help hire people to work on the project as well as provide people with a more feature-rich, robust, and mature framework.
