<div>We are raising funds for our dear friend Katie — a loving 32-year-old wife and doting mum to a beautiful three-year-old daughter — who is facing an incredibly difficult battle with stage 4 melanoma that has spread to other organs and her bones.

<div>Despite everything she’s going through, Katie remains strong, determined, valiant and full of love for her little girl and husband. But the road ahead is uncertain, and the challenges they face are overwhelming.

<div>Blissfully unaware of what lay ahead, Katie fell ill shortly after returning from a long-awaited family holiday. At first, doctors reassured her that it was likely just a virus — nothing to worry about. But as the weeks passed and her condition worsened, Katie remained bedridden, growing weaker by the day. After five weeks, she went to A&amp;E, desperate for answers — and was delivered the unimaginable: her back was broken, and the melanoma had not only returned, but had aggressively spread throughout her body. The cancer had reached her spine, liver, lungs, abdominal wall, and ovaries — devastating news no one could have prepared for.

<div>Katie is currently undergoing an intensive treatment plan to manage her pain and, we hope, to slow the progression of the cancer. The next few months are critical. Her doctors have made it clear: how the cancer responds during this time will be key to what comes next. 
</div>

<div><strong>Our deepest hope is that the treatment will give Katie more <em>time</em></strong> — time to be a mum, wife, to make memories, and get to see the milestones of their little girl, that every mum should be there to see and parents be able to navigate together.

<div>We’re raising funds to support Katie in two vital ways:

<div>	<strong>1.	Creating a healing space at home</strong> – We want to help make her home more comfortable, especially by making her daughter’s room extra special and by setting up a peaceful area where Katie can rest, recover, and spend meaningful time with her family.

<div>	<strong>2.	Covering medical and living expenses</strong> – As Katie’s ability to work has been drastically reduced, financial support is more important than ever and the coming weeks and months are crucial. Donations will go directly toward medical costs, travel for treatment, and essential daily living support.
