Campus Church C2 started in February of 2013 on the campus of Western Carolina University. We have seen God do some great things in many lives during our first year of ministry, with over 250 decisions for Christ. We have had to move multiple times due to growth, but one area we were lacking in was a building that would serve as our “hub” and allow us to do more not only for the campus of WCU but for the community.
Two weeks ago one of our ministry partners gave us use of a building on campus to use to help us reach that goal. We are very thankful for this wonderful ministry gift from the North Carolina Baptist Convention. The building is going to be used for so many things, but will need a lot of work done inside to clean up and get it ready for use. We are going to be taking up old carpet and tiles; painting the walls, floor and ceiling; creating office space for staff, interns, production and media; repairing bathrooms on all floors and kitchen area; plumbing and electrical repairs; lighting and sound install for special events, trainings, conferences and small groups; outside landscaping and beautification of building.
Our goal is to raise the money as fast as possible so we can have the building in full operation by November of 2014 and also to raise all the funds that we need to go towards the building, so as not to take away from what we are currently doing. Please pray about helping us reach our goal of taking our ministry on the campus of WCU to the next level. No amount is too small to help us reach more students and families in our community, and sharing the page is another way you can help!
