<div>I’m 14 years old and I go to Samuel Ryder Academy, St Albans.

<div>I have been offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in an expedition to rural Cambodia with Camps International, where I’ll be living and working alongside local communities for one month.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whilst in Cambodia I will be taking part in:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Building wells to provide drinking water and water for farming
</li>
<li>Building toilets to provide better sanitation for the community
</li>
<li>Working on school improvement projects
</li>
<li>Building chicken coops to enable families to raise chickens to provide a source of income
</li>
<li>Taking part in reforestation work
</li>
<li>Constructing village clay water pots to maximise water collection
</li>
</ul>

<div>This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will develop many important life skills such as team work, independence, knowledge and experience beyond the normal life I take for granted today.
</div>

</div>
<div>To raise money for this expedition I am doing a sponsored Mountain Climb of the Highest Mountain in Northern Ireland in April 2026 and would greatly appreciate any donations to help fund my expedition to Cambodia this summer.
</div>

<div>I need to raise £5000 in total and I have already been successful in raising half of this.
</div>
