Camp New Joy: Taking Matters into Our Own Hands. Changing Lives, One Child At A Time
Camp New Joy, a 501(c)3, will offer transformative programming and experiences for at-risk, urban youth in an 'out of environment' camp experience. Set in the rolling foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp New Joy will teach children crucial life skills and will cost families absolutely nothing.
Last year, Camp New Joy raised $350,000, enough to purchase 19 acres of land and build the first camp structures. Now, we must raise $450,000 to open camp doors and give scholarships to each youth. Your donation today will help us open our doors this summer, feeding, sheltering and transporting the first group of youth.
