Campese Diving Center braucht eure Hilfe

Hallo liebe Tauchsportfreunde,

 

alle reden sie von der Pandemie und einer wirtschaftlichen Krise und doch trifft es das Campese Diving Center (www.cdc-giglio.de) besonders hart:

 

2012 kollidierte das Kreuzfahrtschiff Costa Concordia mit unserer kleinen Insel Giglio. Der darauffolgende Rückgang von Gästen und die damit verbundenen finanziellen Einbußen sind bis heute noch nicht überwunden.

 

2020 haben wir das Coronavirus, welches weltweit Probleme bereitet. Da Italien innerhalb der EU besonders stark betroffen ist, sind hier auch die Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung von covid-19 sehr streng. Alle diese Maßnahmen sind richtig und notwendig, aber sie bedrohen die Existenz unserer Tauchbasis.

 

Noch vor kurzem hatten wir die Hoffnung, an Pfingsten arbeiten zu können. Jetzt, ist jedoch offensichtlich, dass die Maßnahmen generell nicht so schnell gelockert werden und uns damit ein erheblicher Teil unserer Jahreseinnahmen wegbricht. Und das in einer von vornherein zeitlich begrenzter Saison.

 

Wann Italien und unsere Insel Giglio wieder für den Tourismus geöffnet werden und unter welchen Bedingungen, das ist momentan nicht abzusehen ... Anders sieht es mit den trotzdem anfallenden Rechnungen aus. Unsere laufenden Kosten, wie z.B. Miete und Versicherungen, belaufen sich auf ca. 35 000 €/Jahr.

 

Geld, welches wir dieses Jahr offensichtlich nicht mit unserer Tauchbasis erarbeiten können. Zudem sind die Staatshilfen in Italien sehr begrenzt und können größtenteils nicht in Anspruch genommen werden.

Auch die Aufnahme eines Kredits oder der Verkauf von Tauch-Gutscheinen würde unser Problem nur verschieben, aber nicht lösen.

 

Damit wir auch in Zukunft für euch da sein können und gemeinsam tolle Tauchgänge und schöne Abende auf Giglio erleben dürfen, bitten wir euch uns finanziell unter die Arme zu greifen. Unterstützt uns mit einer Spende – so wie es euch finanziell möglich ist – und gemeinsam schaffen wir es diese schwierige Zeit zu überstehen.

Cari amici subacquei,

 

da tempo si parla della ormai nota pamdemia e della grave crisi economica in cui ormai versiamo e tutto ciò purtroppo ha colpito pesantemente anche il nostro centro immersioni Campese Diving Center (www.cdc-giglio.de):

 

2012 – è stato l’anno della tragedia della nave da crociera Costa Concordia, naufragata sulla nostra piccola Isola del Giglio. Il conseguente calo del numero di turisti e clienti del Diving e i relativi  danni economici per la nostra ed altre attività si fanno ancora sentire.

 

2020 – è la volta del Coronavirus, un problema che sta toccando tutto il mondo. Considerato che tra gli stati dell’UE l’Italia risulta essere uno dei paesi più colpiti, anche le misure di contenimento del virus Covid-19 sono alquanto severe. Tutte queste misure sono naturalmente giuste e necessarie, ma stanno mettendo a rischio la sopravvivenza stessa del nostro centro di immersioni.

 

Fino a qualche tempo fa, avevamo ancora la speranza di poter lavorare nel periodo di Pasqua e Pentecoste. Ora invece è chiaro che le misure generali di contenimento adottate non verranno allentate tanto velocemente e che questo ci priverà di una significativa parte del nostro ricavo annuale. Senza contare una stagione di per sè già abbastanza limitata in termini di tempo.

 

Quando l’Italia e la nostra splendida Isola del Giglio riapriranno al turismo e quali saranno le nuove condizioni che dovranno essere rispettate per poter riaprire, questo non ci è ancora dato da sapere... Ciò che è certo però sono che bollette e fatture sono comunque da pagare. I nostri  costi di gestione, tra cui ad esempio affitti e assicurazioni, sono di circa 35.000 €/anno.

 

Soldi che, quest’anno, non potranno evidentemente provenire dall’attività del nostro centro di immersioni. A questo si aggiunge che gli aiuti statali in Italia sono estremamente limitati e per molti non disponibili.

Anche eventuali prestiti o vendita di buoni per future immersioni non risolverebbero i nostri problemi, ma semplicemente li rinvierebbero.

 

Per poter continuare ad esserci, oggi come domani, per tutti voi e nell’attesa di poter nuovamente tornare ad immergersi insieme e trascorrere splendide serate al Giglio, vi chiediamo di aiutarci economicamente in questo momento così difficile.

Todays the global topic is the COVID-19 pandemic and the related economic crisis which has not spared even our Campese Diving Center (www.cdc-giglio.de):

 

2012 - The Costa Concordia disaster that occurred on our little Isola del Giglio. The subsequent decline in the number of guests and tourists and the resulting financial losses have still not been overcome.

 

2020 – It is the turn of Coronavirus, which led to global health and financial problems. Since Italy is one of the most affected nation among the other EU countries, the measures currently in force to contain the spread of COVID-19 are very strict. All these measures are right and necessary, but they are seriously threatening the existence of our diving center.

 

Until a short while ago we were still convinced we could start working again at Easter and Pentecost. Now it is clear that the general measures will last much more than expected and that will deprive ourselves of a significant part of our annual revenues. Moreover, we are speaking of a season which is from the outset already timely limited.

 

The day and the kind of conditions under which Italy and our Giglio Island will be opened again to Tourism are at the moment unknown... But what is clear and certain are the bills that still have to be paid. Our running costs – i.e. rent and insurance – amount to approximately 35,000 €/year.

 

Money, which this year we clearly could not earn from the activities of our diving center. In addition,  government aids in Italy are very limited and not accessible to everyone.

Also the possibility of a loan or of selling prepaid diving vouchers would not solve our problems but just postpone them.

 

In order to have the chance in the future to dive together again and spend great time on the Giglio Island, we ask you to assist us with a little economic help.
