❤AJUDE UMA MÃE A CUIDAR DE SUA FILHA NO TRATAMENTO CONTRA O CANCÊR❤
 
Lutar contra uma doença exigem forças mental, emocional e físicas. Infelismente exigem também dinheiro e normalmente em grande quantidade.
 
Vou contar aqui a história da nossa princesa, minha afilhada tão sempre feliz, que nos faz sentir pequenos perante à sua força, amor e carinho.
 
"Ketlyn nasceu uma criança linda, perfeita  e saudável em 13 de Fevereiro de 2016.
Assim foi ate' os seus 13 meses de vida quando sua mãe Raquel notou que a coxa direita de Ketlyn estava mais inchada que a coxa esquerda, mesmo ketlyn nao reclamando hora alguma de dor ou incômodo. Sua mãe a levou imediatamente ao Hospital de crianças em Boston e após vários exames e biopsia um diagnóstico nunca imaginado foi dado à sua mãe: Ketlyn foi diagnosticada com Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, um tipo de cancêr raro e altamente agressivo. 
Ketlyn começou então a sua primeira batalha contra o cancêr, com sessões de quimioterapia, e após alguns meses de quimio foi decidido em comum acordo para o bem de ketlyn que a melhor forma para o cancêr não se alastrar  seria fazer uma rotoplastia, cirurgia que envolve a remoção da área do osso afetada pelo tumor junto com alguma quantidade de osso normal.
 Para garantir que haja uma "margem clara" 
uma porção do femur e da tíbia é excisado e a parte inferior da perna e' rodada a 180° e recolocado para o fêmur proximal com parafusos e placas para segurá-los em posição reduzida ate' que ocorra a cura. 
Agora o pé e tornozelo de Ketlyn funcionam como uma articulação do joelho permitindo à ela o uso de uma prótese abaixo do joelho e qualidade de vida normal. 
Tempos de provação, força e fé para ketlyn e sua Mãe que nunca mediu esforços durante tempos tão difíceis para acompanhar ketlyn em todas as sessões de quimioterapia que por sua vez terminou em Junho de 2018 e assim Ketlyn venceu sua primeira batalha contra o câncer. 
 
Mas em Setembro de 2019, para nossa surpresa e dor, o cancêr voltou, dessa vez na região da virilha direita. Por mais uma vez sua batalha e de sua mãe recomeçaram e ketlyn começa sua segunda batalha contra o cancêr agora com sessões de quimioterapia e radioterapia por mais quase um ano.
E em 27 de Agosto de 2020 Ketlyn venceu sua segunda e que pra nós seria a última, batalha contra o cancêr!
Celebramos, vibramos, brincamos, dançamos, demos muitas...muitas glórias ao Senhor por ter dado tanta saúde à nossa menina, porque a força dela e' o que nos permite ter forças também.
Mas após celebrar seu Natal e Ano Novo junto de sua família, ketlyn começou  com fortes dores de cabeça nos primeiros dias de 2021 e Raquel à levou novamente para uma consulta de emergência no Hospital de crianças em Boston, temendo pela notícia que veio a se concretizar após uma série de testes e exames.
E imediatamente, em 8 de Janeiro de 2021 ketlyn começou pela terceira vez outra batalha contra o cancêr que agora estava localizado em seu cérebro, inicializando as sessões de quimioterapia e radioterapia combinados.
 
Ketlyn hoje exige a atenção de sua mãe em tempo integral, pois sua mãe e' a pessoa que mais conhece sua filha em questões de tratamento e comportamento.
Impossibilitada muitas vezes de trabalhar por ter que ficar as vezes 8 dias com ketlyn no hospital para seu tratamento, Raquel está passando por dificuldades financeiras, para conseguir manter todos os compromissos de uma casa. Raquel e' mãe solteira e cuida hoje sozinha de ketlyn e seu outro filho Breno que chegou há pouco do Brasil para viver com sua mãe. 
 
Hoje, pedimos que ajudem a Raquel a ter alguns meses de conforto e paz de espírito para cuidar de sua filha enquanto Ketlyn esta' em tratamento. Elas precisam muito uma da outra. É muito difícil ver uma mãe nessa situação, passando ja' por tanta angústia e sofrimento vendo sua filha doente, tendo que ir trabalhar para arcar com as despesas básicas da casa.

❤HELP A MOTHER TO TAKE CARE OF HER DAUGHTER WHO IS IN THE TREATMENT AGAINST CANCER❤

Fighting a disease requires mental, emotional and physical strength. Unfortunately, they also demand money and usually in large quantities.

I will tell you here the story of our princess, my goddaughter so always happy ketlyn, that makes us feel small in the face of her strength, love and affection.

"Ketlyn was born a beautiful, perfect and healthy child on February 13, 2016.

So it was until her 13 months of life when her mother Raquel noticed that Ketlyn's right thigh was more swollen than her left thigh, even though ketlyn didn't complain at any time of pain or discomfort. Her mother immediately took her to the Children's Hospital in Boston and after several examinations and biopsy an unimagined diagnosis was given to her mother: Ketlyn was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and highly aggressive type of cancer.

Ketlyn then began her first battle against cancer, with chemotherapy sessions, and after a few months of chemo, it was decided in common agreement for the sake of Ketlyn that the best way for the cancer not to spread would be to have a rotationplasty , surgery that involves the removal of the area of bone affected by the tumor along with some amount of normal bone. To ensure that there is a "clear margin" a portion of the femur and tibia is excised and the lower leg is' rotated 180 ° and replaced to the proximal femur with screws and plates to hold them in a reduced position until healing occurs. Now Ketlyn's foot and ankle function as a knee joint allowing her to use prosthesis below the knee and to have a normal quality of life.

Times of trial, strength and faith for Ketlyn and her Mother who never spared efforts during such difficult times to accompany Ketlyn in all chemotherapy sessions that ended in June 2018. And then Ketlyn won her first battle against cancer.

But in September 2019, to our surprise and pain, the cancer returned, this time in the region of the right inguinal area. Once again ketlyn started her second battle against cancer now with chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions for almost another year.

And on August 27, 2020 Ketlyn won her second and for us it would be the last, battle against cancer!

We celebrated and thanked the Lord for giving our girl so much health, because her strength is what allows us to have strength too.

But after celebrating her Christmas and New Year with her family, Ketlyn started with severe headaches in the early days of 2021 and Raquel took her again for an emergency consultation at the Children's Hospital in Boston, fearing for the bad news that came after a series of tests and examinations.

And immediately, on January 8, 2021, ketlyn started for the third time another battle against cancer, now located in her brain, initiating the combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions again.

Ketlyn now demands her mother's full-time attention, as her mother is the person who knows her daughter the most in terms of treatment and behavior.

Many times unable to work because she has to stay at the hospital for 8 days with Ketlyn for her treatment, Raquel is going through financial difficulties to keep all the commitments of her household. 

Raquel is a single mother and now takes care of Ketlyn and her other son, Breno, who recently arrived from Brazil to live with his mother.

Today, we ask you to help Raquel have a few months of comfort and peace of mind to take care of her daughter while Ketlyn is in treatment. They really need each other. It is very difficult to see a mother in this situation, going through so much anguish and suffering seeing her daughter sick, having to go to work to cover the basic expenses of the house.
