Mi nombre es Luis Cisneros. Soy originario de Venezuela. Emigré sin mi familia a los EEUU hace algo más de 15 años siguiendo mi carrera científica.
Hoy día organizo ésta campaña en soporte de los gastos médicos para tratamientos de cáncer para mi madre Luisa Elena. Dadas las condiciones críticas de Venezuela hace poco más de un año me ví obligado a trasladarla a ella y a mi padre hacia México para efectuar dichos tratamientos. Además las leyes económicas de Venezuela les impiden acceder a sus recursos financieros y ahorros allá, por lo tanto ellos salieron de su tierra sin nada, contando únicamente con mi soporte como único hijo.
La historia de mis adorados padres es muy triste.
Después de una vida luchando y trabajando, de una vida llena de sacrificios, han tenido que escapar de su país, literalmente abandonando todo por lo que lucharon, para poder seguir tratamientos para el cáncer de mama, y posteriormente cáncer de colon y otras complicaciones, de mi madre. Ellos dejaron todo atrás, su casa y bienes, trabajo, ahorros, pensión, familia, amigos...
Ahora se encuentran viviendo en Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico. Yo soy la única forma de sustento económico. Los gastos médicos se han acumulado con el tiempo, agotando mi capacidad de financiarlo y limitando nuestras opciones, por lo tanto haciendo su lucha contra en cáncer aún más difícil.

En vista de la maravillosa respuesta de amigos, conocidos y toda la hermosa gente que han ofrecido su ayuda, creamos esta colecta para ellos. Los recaudos serán utilizados principalmente para pagar gastos acumulados por varias hospitalizaciones y los procedimientos que se anticipan; principalmente tratamientos de radioterapia, quimioterapia y atención médica en general. Si bien ella no está en estado terminal está en fase metastásica, y su condición es muy delicada. Sufre de parálisis por debajo de la cadera (por lo tanto no tiene control de piernas y esfínteres), ha presentado colapso pulmonar, focos metastásicos en el cerebro e infecciones serias por úlcera de cama. Todas estas condiciones requieren visitas frecuentes al hospital y procesos quirúrgicos costosos.
Los fondos recolectados serán transferidos a una cuenta bancaria en EEUU dedicada para ellos, y desde dónde se hacen pagos a la tarjeta de crédito usada para estos gastos. Yo como su único hijo administro esta cuenta en su nombre.

My names Luis Cisneros. I am originally from Venezuela. I emigrated without my family to the USA about 15 years ago following my scientific career.
Today I am organizing this fundraiser for the cancer treatment costs of my mother Luis Elena. Given the critical conditions in Venezuela, a bit more than a year ago it was necessary for me to move her and my father to Mexico in order to have such treatments. Additionally the economic laws in Venezuela forbid them to access their financial resources and savings back home. Therefore they moved out of their land with nothing, counting solely on my support as their only son.
The story of my beloved folks is really sad.
After a lifetime of hard work, a lifetime enduring sacrifices, they had to escape their homeland, literally abandoning everything they had fought for, in order to be able to continue the cancer treatment for my mother. They left everything behind, their house, job, savings, pension, family, friends...
They are now living in Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico. I am the only source of economic sustenance, and medical expenses had accumulated with time straining my capacity to keep funding it and limiting our options, thus making her fight against cancer harder.

Given the incredible response of friends, acquaintances, and all the beautiful people that had offered their kind help, we decided to create this fundraiser for them. The funds will be used to pay for accumulated costs of various hospital bills and anticipated procedures; mainly radiotherapy, chemotherapy and general medical attention for her complications. Even though her condition is not terminal, she is in metastatic phase and in a very delicate condition. She is suffering of paralysis in her lower body (no control of her legs or ephynters), has had a lung collapse, metastases in affecting her brain and serious infections due to bed sores. All these conditions require frequent hospital visits and costly surgical procedures.
Collected funds will be transferred to a bank account in the USA that I have dedicated for them, from where payments to a credit card used for these expenses can be made.
