Campaigning for Coleman

Donation protected
Coleman a.k.a. "Coley" was recently diagnosed with Hirschsprung's disease at the age of 2. It is something he was born with but was officially diagnosed May 2014. What was suppose to only be 2 surgeries to fix this disease has ended up being more than expected. 1st surgery May 23 was to determine where the dead colon meets the live colon and disconnect the two (ended up being 9 inches dead up from rectum), which resulted in a stoma/ostomy bag for 7 weeks in order for the colon to shrink down to an operable size to reconnect to his rectum. 2nd surgery was July 11, stoma was GONE and healing began! Released that Sunday the 13th, he was readmitted a day shy of a week (July 19) post-op for broken stitches at the reconnection site that caused a severe bacterial infection within his abdominal cavity and required emergency surgery that again, resulted in another stoma (looped stoma). The check up July 24 also required additional repair of the connection site as well as penrose drains to help direct infection out of his abdominal cavity. At this point two surgeries has now turned into 4 with upcoming bi-weekly check ups under anesthesia and another surgery in the near future. It feels like as soon as the 'recovery' stage starts and Coleman is able to return home, he is right back in the hospital within the week. Last admission was Aug 2 due to bacterial infection again, this time he was given a pic line and released the following day with antibiotics being given from home.

We are asking for Prayers and donations to help Coleman's mom, dad and big brother Myles get through this very challenging time, esp knowing that although check ups and surgery are expected, they have come to expect the unexpected, in stride and faith that God's got this. Their goal no matter what is to get this happy, funny, smart little man healthy and back to being a kid again. He misses his trampoline time and play wrestleing with his cousins and brother. Praise Jesus he has accepted both stomas and pic line like he has, he's a brave boy and is his mom, dad and brother's HERO.
