If you're reading this, it's probably because you or someone you know has spent time at Camp Maria. It is a place of peace and beauty where our faith has been strengthened in unexpected ways and lifelong friendships have been built. It is timeless in its capacity to provide a space for centering and refocusing on what's truly important.
Camp Maria has not been spared from the difficulties that COVID-19 has caused. Nearly every event in 2020 was canceled, and there is good reason to believe that 2021 will be constrained as well. They are making important decisions to enable the retreat center to survive this period and remain open, but the impact of actual and expected future revenue loss has caused them to indefinitely delay improvements to the retreat center.
We have an opportunity to be a light in this dark time for Camp Maria. By using our skills and resources, we can make some of their improvement dreams a reality at a cost savings of roughly 50% (labor cost savings). The Sacrum Cor Family Retreat group is already well into the planning phase of the next project, but we need your help to make it possible.
Please contribute what you can and share this message as far and wide as you are willing. Any amount we receive in excess of the funds needed for this project will be put toward the next project. While our greatest need is financial, we also welcome physical support for the installation. Please send us a message if you are interesting in helping with labor.

Completed & Tentative Project Plans:
- Stations of the Cross (completed July 2020)
- Sidewalk / drainage system between Spiritual Center and Oratory (est. May 2021)
- Prayer garden between Spiritual Center and Oratory (est. Fall 2021)
- Bathroom renovations (TBD)
- Playground (TBD)
