I am making this heartfelt request for donations to help my students attend a very unique and special space and science camp! SCIVIS is a camp that adapts all of its equipment and programs to meet the individualized needs of all participating blind or visually impaired students. Students come from all over the world for the chance to be at this camp and the experience is both memorable and life-changing! Please help if you can...all donations are gratefully

Okay...so you can see that I have increased my goal! I want you to know I almost fell off my chair when I checked my GoFundMe page today and saw what had happened!! I am truly speechless...and that never happens!! I cannot believe the generosity of my friend Juerg Zimmermann!!! Honestly! His donation was so incredibly kind and generous and I am still shocked! But the truth is that I had no idea what to ask for in my initial request and so I thought $2500 was a great estimate and it really helps so much, but the fact remains that I am helping 6 students and 3 chaperones get to camp and although all my students and their families are actively fundraising, we can always use some more help. So although the $2500 helps enormously , it would reduce the worry of my families so much if I could raise a bit more.....so I am increasing my goal by $1500 to $4000 and I hope you will all understand that every cent of this is going to help these kids and this team get to this amazing camp! If by chance we have any money left after our flights and camp costs this year, we will put it into a fund for future years for kids to go to Space Camp. I am incredibly grateful for the donations we have received and for any further donations. Thank you so much! I will make sure I keep you all updated on our adventure at SCIVIS!
