Our brand new church, Destiny Friends, part of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends, is hoping to send 3/4 of our congregation to the September Men's and Women's Retreats this year! It's a lofty goal!
As you know, retreats allow for a spiritual getaway, a great time of teaching and worship, some focused time on God, as well as bonding between the participants.
We're so excited to have such a great participation rate...but we need some financial help to be able to manage the registration costs. Many of our attendees live below the poverty level on a daily basis. We are hoping to cover everyone's costs.
If you, the wider body of believers could help, this amount listed would cover ten of our folks in greatest need.
