Last weekend Camille Cox and her family lost everything they had in an apartment fire.
Kaechelle Jones is a Horizons student. She came to us in 3rd grade. Her mother Camille Cox is a single mother with four children:
Boy Kenneth (17) student at Bridgeport Military HS
Girl Sy'Air (15) student at Bridge Academy
Girl Kenya (13) student at Bridge Academy
Our student Kaechelle (10) now in 4th grade at Roosevelt School
Camille has a full-time job and goes to school. She works for Masonicare@Home as a Nurse's Aide.
She had to take a week off from work to be able to handle this terrible situation, take the children to counseling and school meetings.
We hope to raise in excess of $2600 to cover her first month's rent and security deposit at a new apartment and provide a cushion to help get her and her family back up on their feet.
