<div>Camino Mhacha is a 25.5 mile (41 kilometer) sponsored walk to raise vital funds allowing Aonach Mhacha to continue its important work for the Irish Language and Culture in the community.

<div>Walkers will follow the ancient footsteps of Cú Chulainn beginning at <strong>Tí Chulainn, Mullaghbane</strong> and finishing at <strong>Cultúrlann Aonach Mhacha, Armagh City</strong>. This route journeys from the foot of Slieve Gullion to the heart of Armagh through landscapes of natural beauty, steeped in mythology, history and literature.

<div>In addition to the <strong>25.5 mile walk</strong> we are excited to introduce a <strong>Family Walk</strong>, beginning at <strong>Christian Brothers Primary School</strong>, Armagh to Aonach Mhacha.

<div>This year’s relaunch also marks the inaugural ‘Turas na Tána’, a special tribute to the late Mattie Lennon. Mattie was the first person to run Camino Mhacha, clocking in a terrific time of 3 hours and 37 minutes. As his son Matthew beautifully put it “Perhaps a legend, like the mighty Cú Chulainn himself, is the most apt description of all for someone who hurled like a man, played the game and got busy living”.
